SOUTH PARIS - Robert l. "Babe" Renaud, 86, formerly of Lewiston died peacefully Thursday evening at the Market Square Health Care Facility. He was born in Lewiston, April 20, 1920 the son of Napoleon and Laura (Ouellette) Renaud.He was a member of the Basilica of St. Peter & Paul when he resided in Lewiston. He was an Army veteran of World War II having served in the Pacific theater. He was a 52 year member of the American Legion Post 22. He retired after 43 years at the Bates Mill and following retirement he enjoyed bowling and following New England team sports. Survivors include his wife, Lou of South Paris; 2 cousins, Liette Cliche and Leo Renaud. RENAUD died in South Paris, March 1, 2007, Mr. Robert L. "Babe" Renaud age 86 years formerly of Lewiston. Committal prayers will be held SATURDAY 9:00AM, March 10th at St. Peter's Cemetery Chapel.with military honors to follow.
