

Formerly of Sabattus, Sally was born in Portneuf, Quebec on July 19, 1933.
Sally was in boarding school with her sister in Quebec with Grey Nuns until 1949. She moved to Wisconsin to learn the English language until 1951. Sally came to Lewiston and graduated from LHS in 1952. She was married to Norm Dumont in 1957 at St. Peter & Paul Church. Norm & Sally were happily married for 60 years before Norm's passing on July 5, 2017.
Sally worked while in H.S., as a candy girl at the Empire Theater. She also worked at St. Mary's Hospital. For 10 years, Dr. Mendros for 10 years, then worked 30 year at CMMC until retirement. She was a member of the Jacques Cartier Club for more than 50 years as well as a member of the Lewiston & Sabattus Seniors, and Vice president of the American auxiliaries Unit 22.
Living at St. Mary's Residence, she enjoyed socializing and playing cards with different groups.
Sally is predeceased by her husband, Normand Dumont and her parents Raoul & Alice (Brousseau) Frenette, 3 brothers Conrad, Roland, Arthur and one sister Therese Frenette.
Sally is survived by her son Larry & wife Sam, her Daughter Linda & husband David Bilodeau as well as four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Per the families wishes, services for Solange will be private.
