Lewiston - Steven Hunt, 51, of Lewiston, ME passed away on April 28,, 2024. He was born in Lewiston the son Larry Hunt and Mildred Saucier Cyr on January 4, 1973. He went to Lewiston school system and received his GED, which he was very proud of.
He spent a majority of his life working as a DSP with special needs people in their home, which he found great joy in. Steve enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, playing pool, and playing cards. He loved to collect many different things, which he would buy and sell. When he had free time he would love to write poetry He was a true Christian and faithfully attended church. He raised his son Corey Hunt and his wife Jasmine, his daughter Jaimee and her husband Blake who is very proud of and their success in business, his grandchildren Owen, Olive, and Fraya will miss him dearly. He truly had a big spot in his heart for his family. He is survived by his mother Mildred and Jack Downey; a good friend Penny Bradstreet; his brother Ray Hunt; and sister Bonnie and husband Bill Landry.
A graveside service will be celebrated on May 24th at 1:00pm at St. Peters Cemetery in Lewiston.
