Lewiston - Theresa D. Laflamme, age 82, of Maison Marcotte, passed away Saturday afternoon St. Mary's Regional Medical Center with family at her side. She was born in Lewiston July 24, 1927 a daughter of Antonio and Marie Anna (Morissette) Lessard. She was educated in local schools and remained a lifelong resident of this community. On September 3, 1949 Theresa married Mr. Marcel Laflamme in Lewiston at St. Peter's Church. She worked hard as a homemaker to take care of the family and create a loving home as she and her husband raised their children. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph's Church and among her favorite enjoyments were doing various crafts, shopping, and making homemade soup for her family. Theresa thoroughly enjoyed every holiday as she would extensively decorate her home and enjoy spending those days with her family. She enjoyed going out to eat and absolutely loved Chinese food. She was a loving, devoted and hardworking wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed by family and friends. She leaves her husband of 61 years, Marcel Laflamme of Lewiston; her children Doris Veilleux and husband Donat, Irene Gagne and husband Glenn, Sue Vachon and husband Donald, Nancy Bosse and husband John, Daniel Laflamme all of Lewiston, special and dear Lucille Gagnon (Nenou) and Monique; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren with another great-grandson due in June; a brother Romeo Lessard and wife Terry of Lewiston, sister-in-law Connie Clabby and husband John of Lewiston, brother-in-law Roger Laflamme and wife Kay of CT. and a sister-in-law Peggy Laflamme of Lewiston. She was predeceased by a brother-in-law Ronald LaflammeThe family would like to thank Dr. Jeff Brown for his compassion and care and for Rosie's visits, the staff of 4 West at d'Youville and the staff on C-2 at St. Mary's Hospital for the care given to her in her final days.
