Therese Gilberte LeBlond

LEWISTON: Therese Gilberte LeBlond, 84, of Lewiston passed away peacefully on Saturday April 16, 2016 at D’youville Pavilion in Lewiston. She was born in Auburn on April 13, 1932 a daughter of the late Donat and Antoinette (Paradis) Bouvier. She grew up in the local area where she attended school and was a graduate of the Ave Maria Academy in Sabattus. On June 5, 1965 she married Ronaldo LeBlond at St. Peter’s Church in Lewiston and the two started a family together. For most of her life, Therese worked in the shoe industry for various shoe companies until her retirement in 1997. She was a member of the Ladies of Ste. Anne in Auburn and was always very fond of traveling, especially to Canada, shopping and going out to eat with her friends. She also found much love and joy while being around and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed greatly. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Ronaldo of Lewiston, her daughter, Louise Reissfelder and her husband Tyson of Lewiston along with her two grandchildren, Jillian and Caleb Reissfelder. She also leaves behind her sister, Claudette Belousek. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday April 19, 2016 at Fortin\Lewiston from 5-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday April 20, 2016 at 11am at the Basilica of Ss. Peter and Paul (lower chapel) followed by committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Lewiston.
