

LEWISTON – Thomas A. Lanois 83, a resident of Bates St., in Lewiston passed away peacefully Saturday January 27th at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion with his loving family by his side following a long illness.
He was born in Lewiston August 12, 1934 the son of Son of Wilbrod and Eva Lanois.
Thomas was employed for many years at Knapp Shoe until it’s closing.
He was a proud man who loved his family and was very generous. He also loved working around his yard
Tom especially loved his wife Beverly and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife Beverly of Lewiston, one brother Roger Lanois of Auburn; one sister Claudette Pelletier of Lewiston one son Robert Lanois and wife Okkun of Leominister, MA; one daughter Doris Dunn and husband Greg of Hattiesburg, Miss;; . Also surviving are two grandchildren Irene Lee Lanois of Somerville, MA; and Dean Lanois of Myanmar.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Albert.

A Memorial gathering will be held WEDNESDAY January 31st from 3-6PM at the funeral home.
Graveside committal prayers will be held later in the Spring at Riverside Cemetery in Lewiston.
