BATESBURG – A private graveside service for Ann Milam Derrick, 88, will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Bush River Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), 1776 D Street NW, Washington, DC 20006 or Generations of Batesburg, 111 Generations Blvd., Batesburg, SC 29006.
Mrs. Derrick was born May 2, 1928 in Sandy Springs, SC and passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017. She was a daughter of the late Robert R. Milam and Leah Harper Milam. Mrs. Derrick was a bookkeeper for Derrick Insurance Company.
Mrs. Derrick is survived by her son, Matt (Natalie) Derrick of Batesburg; grandchildren, Casey, Jacob, Zane, Lexie, Natasha and Brianna; sister, Lucia Cook of IL. She is predeceased by her husband, Bland Derrick, three sisters and two brothers.
Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
