Ann Wilkins of Blythewood passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 after a long struggle with Dementia. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Boyle of Bayonne, NJ. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Ann loved to play golf and treasured all the friends she made as a member of the Columbia Country Club. She held several board positions with the CCC Women’s Golf Association as well as the SCWGA. She achieved 6 holes in one during her golf career. Surviving are her sons, Thomas Wilkins (Bobbi), James Wilkins, David Wilkins (Ann); daughter, Kathy Manikowski (Jim) and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Arthur Wilkins; son, Robert Wilkins; sister, Mary Ciparro and brother, Dennis Boyle.The family would like to thank the staff at Bethany and Bethel/ The Heritage at Lowman for the many years of loving care they gave Ann.The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2018 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the funeral home with entombment in Elmwood Cemetery in Columbia.
