Aubrey Monroe Tinder III

WEST COLUMBIA – A memorial service for Aubrey Monroe Tinder, III, 75, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Chapin United Methodist Church, gathering to follow. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Ln, Columbia, SC 29210 or Blue Ridge Hospice, 110 Ministry Dr., Irmo, SC 29063.

Mr. Tinder, III was born September 6, 1939 in Richmond, VA and passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015. He was the son of the late Aubrey Monroe Tinder, Jr. and Columbia Cecil Styll Tinder and a member of Block C Club at USC. He was also a Veteran serving proudly in the United States Army.

He is survived by his children, Aubrey Monroe Tinder, IV (Trent), Melissa Tinder Scott, Brooke Tinder Bridges and Brittany Tinder Webster; six precious grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews of North Carolina; brother, Robert Styll Tinder; previous spouses Barbara Howell Tinder and Judy Williamson Tinder, and dear family friend Janet Marie Crosby. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
