Bette Ann Lucas

LEXINGTON – A memorial service for Bette Ann Lucas, 57, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the chapel. Memorials may be made to Abate of Lexington, P.O. Box 85304, Lexington, SC 29073.

Mrs. Lucas was born August 11, 1958 in Boston, MA and passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016. She was the daughter of Joe Gartman and Elaine Bisson Gartman. She worked for Lexington County EMS for 18 years, reaching Senior Paramedic. Bette loved being with family and friends. She was especially passionate about riding her motorcycle with her husband.

Mrs. Lucas is survived by her husband, David Maudin; son, Kevin Koerner (Nicole); father, Joe Gartman of Lexington; sisters, Debbie Companion (Paul) of NH, Donna Chavis of SC, Paula Wise of SC, Sue Keenan (John) of MA, Mary Dickens (Jay) of MA; brothers, Nelvin Gartman (Linda) of MA, Jim Gartman (Shannon) of MA, John Gartman (Diane) of MA, Joe Gartman of SC; step-children, Cody and Shaun Maudin; three grandchildren, Skylar, Kyan and Karly and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Elaine Gartman.

Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
