LEXINGTON – Betty Naomi Starnes Driggers, 77, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2013. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
Betty was born September 13, 1936 in Wagner, SC and she was a daughter of the late Etheridge Starnes and Arnie Jackson Starnes. She retired from the River Banks Zoo.
Betty was survived by the love of her life, Don Haynes of Lexington; sons, Anthony Dyches (Donna) of Gilbert; Curtis Dyches (Terri) of Lexington; grandchildren, Forrest Dyches (Nicole) of Lexington and Gabrielle Weigand (Greg) of Lexington; sisters, Regina Morin, Peggy Jackson, Annaree Roland, Elease Anderson; brother, Johnny Starnes and 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Roger Dyches and 7 siblings.
