LANCASTER - Betty Harmon Holt, 78, of Lancaster, SC, passed away unexpectedly December 22, 2011 in Wendell, NC.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 28 at 1 pm at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Lexington, SC.
Betty was born December 4, 1933 in Lexington to Nezzie Arnold Harmon and Lloyd D. Harmon, Sr. She was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Matthews and husband, Robert of Lancaster SC, Angela Gilbert and husband, Scott of Mandeville LA; sons, Teddy Holt and wife, Lynn of Pebble Beach CA, Richie Holt and wife, Ashley of Wendell NC, Nicky Holt and wife, Lynn of Wake Forest NC; fourteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Doris DeHart of Lexington SC; brothers, Milford Harmon of West Columbia SC, Lloyd Harmon, Jr. of NC; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive friends at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home in Lexington on Tuesday, December 27 from 7 pm until 9 pm.
