Cheryl Austin

Cheryl was the owner and manager of The Rosewood Dairy Bar for many, many years. She also worked at Zesto, and met one of her very best friends there. She enjoyed working and serving the community. She loved all of her children and grandchildren! Her family and friends meant everything to her. I think her favorite family member was her dog, Cocoa! She loved gardening and bird watching. She was also a die-hard Gamecock fan. Cheryl will be missed by all of us.

She is predeceased by her daughter, Christina Russell and the father of her children, Marion Dale “Butch” Austin of Gaston, SC.

She is survived by her mother, Ann Bowen (Robert) of Pelion, SC; daughters, Amanda Crocker (Joel) of Gaston, SC, and Krystal Austin of Columbia, SC; son, Marion Dale Austin (Valeree) of New Mexico; sisters, Cynthia Fox (Keith) of Columbia, SC and Karen Arceneax (Allen) of GA; grandchildren, Alison, Jenna-Lynn, Madalin, Cara-Leigh, Hailey, Austin, Jason, Joey and Josh.

A visitation for Cheryl will be held Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, South Carolina 29072.
