LEXINGTON – A graveside service for Doris “Dot” Boland, 84, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2013 in Celestial Memorial Gardens, 3111 Delree Street, West Columbia, SC 29170. Rev. Bruce Garner will conduct the service.
Mrs. Boland was born May 31, 1928 in Charlotte, NC and passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from complications of Alzheimers. She was the daughter of the late Myrl Anna Lippard Lynch. She owned and operated Dot’s Beauty Salon for 30 years.
Mrs. Boland is survived by her daughters, Wanda Boland Stevens (Steve) of Lexington and Anna Renea Iungerich (Larry) of Augusta, GA; brother, Richard “Dickie” Lynch; her sister-in-law, Sue Robinson Christenbury and beloved Pomeranian, Scooter. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Edward Boland and brothers, Simbrel Christenbury, Benjamin Lynch and Alfred Lynch. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
