Ethan Brent Lindler, 21, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022. He was born in Lexington, South Carolina on October 31, 2000. Ethan was the son of Douglas Lee Christensen, Linda Michelle Lindler, and grandson of Franklin Lindler, Jr.
After graduating high school in 2019, Ethan pursued a career in Project Management. He often enjoyed singing, both in choir and during family nights. Some of the family's fondest memories are of him singing in the living room to Michael Jackson and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Being the youngest of five siblings (all girls), Ethan was not only one of the wisest souls, but also the funniest. More than a hobby, he spent his life making others laugh, smile, and feel included. To him, family was everything; he was the best son, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend anyone could have asked for.
In his free time, Ethan also took pleasure in fishing, playing with his dog Boomer, playing golf with his father, volunteering to help save turtles, hanging out with his friends and family, and gardening.
He is survived by his father, Douglas Lee Christensen; his step-mother, Lynda Christensen; his maternal grandfather, Franklin Lindler, Jr.; his paternal grandmother, Mary H. Christensen; his four sisters, Haley Bree-Anne Shealy, Alexa Alina Burkett, Alyssa Brooke Mullins, and Makenna Marguerite Christensen; his nephews, Michael Alexander-Kestutis Burkett and Parker Dale Mitchell, and nieces, Linda-Mae Grace Mitchell and Novaleigh Michelle Tuggle.
His mother, Linda Michelle Lindler; his paternal grandfather, Paul Christensen “PC”; his paternal grandmother, Linda Jean Linder; his cousins, Benjamin Lindler and Bucky Lindler preceded him in death.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 3 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home located at 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072.
From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank all family and friends for their continued love and support during this difficult time.
