LEXINGTON - Funeral services celebrating the life of Frank Samuel Wingard, age 56, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Lexington. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project at their website woundedwarriorproject.org or charity of one’s choice.
Mr. Wingard was born December 10, 1960 in Lexington and passed away November 9, 2017. He was the son of Gerald W. Wingard and the late Virginia Ann Corley Wingard. Frank was a member of the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being around others.
He is survived by his father, Gerald Wingard (Jerri) of Lexington; sister, Susan Wingard Latimer (Ben) of Mt. Pleasant; nieces, Micah and Ariel Wingard and Corley Ginn; and his nephews, Michael and Lance Hightower. He was predeceased by his brother, Gerald Micheal “Duck” Wingard.
