Fred Fred M Doster Sr.

PELION – Funeral services for Fred M. Doster, 71, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 27, 2011 at Florence Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. pm Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.

Mr. Doster was born March 18, 1940 in Greenville, SC and passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2011. He was the son of the late Annie Mae and Emory J. Doster. Fred retired from Pepsi Bottling Group after 40 years as a truck driver. During his employment, he drove more than three million miles without an accident. He was a member of Florence Baptist Church.

Fred is survived by his wife, Sandy Doster of Pelion; daughter, Pamela Brown of Laurinburg, NC; daughter, Teresa (David) Geiger of Pelion; daughter, Debra (Deryl) Burnette of St. Matthews; son, Fred Mark Doster, Jr. of Pelion; daughter, Traci (Chris) Watts of Gaston; son, Todd Williams of Pelion; grandchildren, David Brown, Scotty Arthman, Todd Arthman, Alisha Boling, Cody Roebuck, Josh Watts, Hailey Watts, and Mallory Jade Williams; one great grandson, Luke Arthman; sister, Barbara Rogers of South Congaree.
