LEXINGTON – Graveside services for Inez Shumpert Hallman, 93, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 in Bethany Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church, 720 Bethany Church Road, Lexington, SC 29073.
Mrs. Hallman was born August 31, 1922 in Lexington County and passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Hiram P. Shumpert and Ellen Taylor Shumpert. Mrs. Hallman is survived by her children, Allen (Dot) Hallman, Daniel (Betty) Hallman and Linda H. (Johnny) Shull; brothers, Ansel and Ralph Shumpert; six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is predeceased by her husband, Joe W. Hallman, and a number of siblings.
