

LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Ingeborg Philomena Asbill, 72, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2012 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church with interment to follow in Red Bank Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Mrs. Asbill was born November 23, 1939 in Munich, Germany and passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. She was a daughter of the late Anton and Katharina Heindl Urban. Mrs. Asbill had been a volunteer with the Lexington Medical Center since 1997 and was a member of the Half Century Club at St. Matthews Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Asbill is survived by her daughters, Patty (Jimmy) Johnson, Kathe (Paul) Crooks, of Georgetown and Tiffany (James) Bagwell of Lexington; son, Jerry Watkins, of Lexington; grandchildren, Matthew, Whitney Crooks, Seth, Sabrina, Dalton, Jackson, Grace and Anna-Kate; great-grandson, John Conner; sister, Erika Mayer of Munich, Germany and niece, Sylvia Pfab of Traunstein, Germany. Mrs. Asbill was predeceased by her son, Ralph David Watkins and her husband, Bobby Asbill Sr.
