

LEXINGTON – James “Jimmy” Albert Bundrick, 75, went to be with his Savior and Lord on Sunday, February 21, 2016. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. His funeral will be held Friday, February 26, 2016 at Saluda River Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with a private burial to follow.
Jimmy was born April 29, 1940 in Chapin, SC. He was the son of the late Asbury Franklin Bundrick and Mary Lou Meetze Bundrick. He was a 1958 graduate of Columbia High School and has been married to Marilyn Lindler Bundrick for 51 years. For over 40 years he owned and operated Bundrick’s Kar Kare in downtown Columbia after serving our country in the U.S. Navy for 7 years. He was an active member of Saluda River Baptist Church. He loved helping in the church, and served in many capacities over the years. He was also very active in the State and Lexington County Republican Parties.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marilyn; son, Eric (Deonna) Bundrick of Leesville; daughter, Andrea Bundrick of Lexington; grandchildren, James, Emily and Sarah Grace of Leesville; grand-dog Bubba; brothers, Roland (Janice) Bundrick of Waco, TX, Richard (Shirley) Bundrick of West Columbia and sister, Margaret Mabe of Gilbert. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Annie Ruth Huffstetler and brother, Asbury Franklin “Buster” Bundrick, Jr. .
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saluda River Baptist Church, Family Life Center, 3459 Sunset Blvd, West Columbia, SC 29169.
