Jano was born in Paris, France, on May 31, 1930 to Winifred and Pierre Hervieux. She moved to the United States in 1953 where she made her home in the West Columbia/Cayce area.
She is survived by her children, Donna (Bobby) Belcher, Karen Weathers, Robin Rucker and Jenny Rucker; her grandchildren, Dianna (Greg) Barefoot, Renea (Berley) Tidwell, Nathan (Blake) Taylor, Robbie Beasley, Jason Beasley, Lindsay Lewter and Katie (Brandon) Morgan; her great-grandchildren, Maddie Barefoot, Aiden Barefoot, Ella Reed Taylor, Rylan Taylor, Jaxson Lewter, Xander Morgan, Bentley Morgan and Davis Morgan.
Our family would like to give a very special thank you to Crescent Hospice (Chaplain Barbara, Rachel, Elaine, hospice nurse and Barbara, who is so much more than a hospice aid) and to all of the caregivers at Oakleaf Village and Oakhaven Memory Care as well as close friends, Marion and Theresa Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to UNICEF, Food for the Poor, the Altar Guild at All Saints Episcopal Church, Cayce or the charity of your choice.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 3:00 pm at All Saints Episcopal Church, Cayce. The family will receive guests one hour before the service.
