LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Jeffrey S. Covington, 43, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2015 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with interment in Woodridge Memorial Park. Officiating will the Rev. Jim Wilkerson and Rev. Faye Stephens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Jubilee Academy, P.O. Mr. Covington was born February 13, 1972 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015. He was a son of Paul Covington and Joan Leitner Covington. Jeff enjoyed playing tennis, golf and loved being on Lake Murray. He loved to travel. Jeff was a loving father, son and brother and he loved and adored his son Keegan. Jeff dearly loved his companion Amie who always loved and supported him during their time together.
Surviving are his mother, Joan Covington, father, Paul Covington; step mother, Debbie Covington; girlfriend and companion, Amie Davenport; son, Keegan Covington; brother, Todd Covington (Ashley); step sister, Angela Heard; step brother, Michael Cobb and paternal grandparent, Mary Elizabeth Covington.
