Jeffrey Alan Rickard

He is survived by his two children and their spouses whom he loved as much as his own, LeAnn Casey (Samuel) of Conway, SC, Adam Rickard (Ashley) of Lexington, SC; two Grandchildren he loved dearly, Charles Bennett Rickard and Skylar Ann Rickard; his mother, Ann Rickard of York, PA; his beloved sister and brothers, Melinda Haldeman (Ken) of York, Pa, Clyde E. Rickard, III (Lois) of Atlanta, GA, Dr. George S. Rickard (Jo) of Brookville, PA; and non-blood brother George Kreese of Columbia, SC; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

He was predeceased by his wife/soulmate of 39 years, Sandra Williams Rickard of Lexington, SC and his Father, Clyde E. Rickard, Jr of York Pa.

Jeff was a graduate of Spring Valley High School and University of South Carolina. He married Sandra in September 1983, and they relocated from SC to DuBois, PA where they started their family and remained until they decided South Carolina winters were more tolerable for retirement. He worked for Ideal Products, Inc while in PA alongside multiple family members and his father Clyde. Upon relocating to SC, he worked as a warehouse manager / accounts payable / inventory specialist for Hawley LLC a bicycle distribution company. Upon his passing he was employed by his second family “work family” as an Inventory Specialist for MARS: Medical Applications Repair and Sales.

Jeff’s pastimes included fishing, fossil hunting / collecting, sci-fi novels, and with the birth of his Grandchildren spending time with them was what brought him the most joy. He always had a smile on his face and was the first to offer help when it was needed. He is much beloved and will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - Lexington Chapel, located at 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC, 29072. The visitation is scheduled for February 8, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

A private burial service with family will be held at a later date.
