Jerry Arthur Fenske (81) of Lexington, SC passed away on June 10, 2024. He was born in Sparta, WI on November 15, 1942. Mr. Fenske is the son of the late Arthur S. and Norma E. Fenske. He was retired from the U.S. Navy as well as the Virginia Beach Police Department. In his retired years he enjoyed boating, traveling the U.S. by RV and was active in many organizations.
Mr. Fenske is survived by his only child, Janna (Patrick) Coppage of Lexington, SC; four grandchildren, Justin Harmon, Patrick “TJ” Coppage, Jr., Haylee Coppage, and Kayla Coppage; two great grandchildren, Memphis and Maverick; two sisters, Sally (Charles) Rix and Julie (Dave) Christensen; numerous nieces & nephews; and his longtime beloved friend, Jeanine Lueke & her family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Jeanette Louise Ford Fenske; his beloved in-laws, John and Vivian Ford; his sister, Jeanette Gale Fenske; and his brothers, Stuart Vonne Fenske and Kim Lee Fenske.
A memorial service will be held on August 2nd at 10:30 am in Columbia Gardens Cemetery in Arlington, Va
