He is survived by his loving wife, Tanya; his former wife, Lisa; children, Anne and Matthew Sisk; four step-children; two brothers and sisters-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
In 2021, after many years of trying, Jon successfully retired from an accomplished career in insurance, primarily with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of South Carolina. Jon was an avid boatsman and reader, but his passion was restoring old houses, particularly an historic property in Georgetown, SC.
An intensely compassionate and intelligent person, he was never happier than when working with his hands and particularly when helping someone he loved. He will be missed by all those whose life he touched.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to charity, particularly those focused on historic preservation or animal rescue.
