Kenneth Watson Brock died on December 21st, 2023 at Lexington Medical Center, but more importantly, Ken embodied a selfless life of unconditional love for his family and friends. His servant heart led him to work with several community organizations such as: Rotary Club, Literacy Council, Mission Lexington, and serving his church in leadership roles. Those of us who lived, worked, or served with Ken came away a better person. Let us celebrate a man who would prefer you wouldn’t make such a fuss celebrating. We were fortunate enough to have Ken in our lives for as long as we did.
Ken was raised in Cheraw, SC by Lawson and Eloise Brock, alongside his brother and sister. He graduated from Clemson University in 1977 with a degree in Finance, and went on to have a successful career in banking. He was married to his wife and best friend, Theresa, for 43 years and had 3 children, Noah, Anna, and Samuel. He spent his retired years traveling the world with his wife and close friends, and enjoyed time with his only grandchild, Eleanor.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa; son, Noah; daughter, Anna (Daniel) Stackhouse; son, Samuel; granddaughter, Eleanor; brother, Edward (Kim) Brock; sister, Janet (Michael) Priest; and niece, MacKenzie.
A memorial service will be held for Kenneth at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 1st, 2024 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home – Lexington Chapel, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072, with a visitation to follow.
