Lessie was preceded in death by her father, John Rabon. She is survived by her children, Christopher and Madison Etheridge; brother, Brian Rabon; mother, Dianne Rabon; grandmother, Jean Doss along with several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
Lessie loved her family dearly. Her children were the light of her life. She touched the lives of so many people. She will truly be missed and will never, ever be forgotten.
As a woman of faith, Lessie wished to have a celebration of the immortality promised to all by Christ. She would love to be remembered with funny, strange, or silly stories that celebrate what was good and blessed in her life. Lessie enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping. In lieu of a traditional memorial service or flowers, Lessie would have requested to “have a big party”. The family requests you all to spend some quality bonding time in the great outdoors with your loved ones in her memory. We are having a private ceremony to release balloons in her honor with our immediate family.
“You never said I’m leaving, you never said goodbye. You were gone before we knew it, and only God knew why. A million times we needed you, a million times we cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place that no one could ever fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God took you home.” - Author Unknown
