Lin was born October 16, 1962 and danced her way through life. An avid lover of the arts and a heart for those in need, Lin was focused on how she could lift others through dance, music, and love. In her spare time, Lin loved volunteering at the soup cellar, spending time with friends and family or snuggling tight with her cat, Groovy Sue.
She is survived by her mother, Linda Fesperman, and brother-in-law, Steve Gunter, along with many loving family members that look forward to dancing with her in Heaven again one day. She was preceded in death by her father, Homer Fesperman, and sister, Kathy Fesperman Gunter.
Lin Fesperman-Lord will be laid to rest on Thursday, May 9, 2024. The celebration of her life will take place at 1:00 PM at Washington Street United Methodist Church, 1401 Washington Street, Columbia, SC 29201. The family will greet visitors following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Washington Street United Methodist Church in support of Homer Fesperman’s audio/video Memorial fund.
