Mrs. Armstrong was a 1958 graduate of York High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lexington.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Kenneth Armstrong; daughter, Jill Ford Kottyan (Matthew); son, Kenneth Mark Armstrong (Kay); grandchildren, Traci Nichole Ford, Brittany Ford Peake (Michael), Charles William Armstrong; great grandchildren, Walker Lee Maynard, Adalyn Renee Peake, Amelia Rose Peake; sister, Brenda Hall and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Tracy Scott Armstrong and sister, Marlene Shugart.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, 1774 Filbert Highway, York, SC 29745. Pastor Ralph Schneck will officiate. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Lexington Memorial Fund, 415 Barr Road, Lexington, SC 29072.
