He is preceded in death by his wife, Teresa R. Spires and his parents, Junior A. Spires and Eunice A. Spires. He is survived by his three children, Adam Spires (Ashley), Natalie O’Brien (Matthew), Jill Spires (Josh); grandson, Benjamin; brothers, Jake Spires, Tommie Spires (Jeanette); sisters, Lucy Rabon (Otis), Connie Black (Jay) and many uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 4 at Grace Chapel Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
