He loved everyone unconditionally and will be missed. He was a loving husband and father.
He is survived by his wife, Nina C. Johnson; daughter, Kimberley Roof; sons, Chuck (Jennifer) Roof, Jr., David (Heather) Roof and Chris Roof; grandchildren, Chad Roof III, Blake Roof, Chase Wicker, Blake Wicker, Christopher (Kaylyn) Roof, Jr., Hunter Roof and Dalton Roof; great grandchildren, Easton Roof and Drayton Roof and brother, Richard Johnson (Mary) of Michigan.
There will be a visitation held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. He will be laid to rest in a private ceremony to be held at Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia, South Carolina.
