

LEXINGTON – Phillip Ray Moore, 48, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. Services will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends after the service in the funeral home chapel. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 107 Westpark Blvd., Suite 150, Columbia, SC 29210.
Mr. Moore was born July 3, 1965 in Jacksonville, TX. He was the son of Norma Bohannon Moore and the late William Marvin Moore, Sr. Phillip was a graduate of Lexington High School. He was successful in retail management in visual designs. He was an accomplished contemporary artist and a very creative costume designer. He had a passion for art, music and acting. He appeared in multiple movies. In his heart, his greatest accomplishment was becoming a father to his two sons.
Surviving are his mother of Lexington, SC; wife, Nikole Taylor Moore; sons, Phillip Ray Moore, Jr. and Brody Stewart Moore all of Fredricksburg, VA; brothers, Dr. William M. Moore, Jr. of Blythewood, SC; Timothy R. Moore of Lexington, SC and sister, Terri Hamilton of Lexington, SC.
