Mr. Malejko was born in Jersey City, NJ. He graduated from St. Peter’s Catholic High School in New Brunswick and served in the US Marine Corps. He raised his family in Piscataway, NJ before moving to Lexington, SC in 2002.
Mr. Malejko is survived by his older sister, Kathleen Burdek of Easton, PA; his wife, Roberta (Nawrocki) of 63 years, and their six children, Patricia Ksenzakovic of GA, Raymond, Louis, Lisa Clyburn and Dan, all of SC, and Maggie Malejko of NJ. Also, his twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren whom they all called “Pop”.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 9 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 8 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
