COLUMBIA - Robert Jones, 51, of Columbia SC, passed away Tuesday April 15, 2014 after a fatal motorcycle accident.
Robert was born in Sumter, SC on October 1, 1962 to William Jimmy Jones and Alice Grimes. Robert worked for CB&I operating heavy machinery. He enjoyed the outdoors and greatly enjoyed the company of a friend.
He is survived by his step-mother, Carolyn Jones; son, William Jones and daughter Brittany Robinson-Jones; grandson, Morgan Demorest; siblings, Cindy Jones, Robbie Jones, Ricky Tutherow, Teresa and Tammy. His life will be celebrated in a memorial service at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home in Lexington, on Saturday April 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.
