GILBERT – Funeral services for Ronald D. Hill, 73, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Riverland Hills Baptist Church with interment at 4:00 p.m. in Lamar Cemetery , Lamar, SC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Riverland Hills Building Fund, 201 Lake Murray Blvd., Irmo, SC 29063.
Mr. Hill was born July 27, 1939 in Lamar, SC and passed away on Monday, March 4, 2013. He was a son of the late Wilbur E. Hill and Margaret Hill. Mr. Hill was a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church. He served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Hill was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and an avid fan. He was a retired bank auditor with Lexington State Bank and BB&T.
Mr. Hill is survived by his wife, Anne Mobley Hill; son, Ron Hill of Gilbert and Ray Hill of Lexington; sister, Wanda H. Howell, Hopkins; brother, Terry D. Hill of Fairfax, VA and five grandchildren.
