Savannah (Savvy) Mae Connelly spent all 5 months and 4 days of her transitory life spreading happiness like a virus. Much to our dismay, our bundle of joy gained her wings peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. She was born to her loving mother, Amber Connelly, and her adoring father, Dillon Connelly, at Lexington Hospital on October 23, 2023, at 3:18 PM.
From the moment she was born, she created an unbreakable bond with every encounter. With amazing strength and sense of wonder, she lifted her head attempting to see the world around her. Her mother, knowing it would eventually be an embarrassing nickname, often referred to her as, “Tootie”. Appropriately given, as she filled every room with her famous attitude and notorious tooting! There was never a dull moment watching her grow into herself, discovering her hands, her feet, her strength, and how to love. Every minute of every day she used her tiny heart to create her very own support system. A village of people that she charmed with her captivating smiles, contagious laughter, and innocent beauty. She spent most of her days as an expert snuggler, teething enthusiast, Trolls movie fanatic, and bonding with her beloved four-legged brother, Gunner Connelly.
Savannah is survived by her parents, Dillon and Amber Connelly; her godmother, Kirstie Yearwood; great-grandfather, Tom Connelly; her grandparents, Eric and Penny Landen, Cindy Connelly, Kyah Rodes, Tammy Delph, and Lindy Landen; her great aunts and uncles, Kevin and Christie Connelly, and Tony and Deborah Standridge; her aunts and uncles, Jezzica Price, Zack and Kayla Cook, Ashlyn Landen, and Benton Presley; her cousins, Field and Abbie Goodlett, Tanner Connelly, Hailey Burton, Nola McKnight, Jaxson Price, and Maebry Cook; as well as so many others that love and cherish her.
She was predeceased by her great-grandmother, Jean Connelly.
Private services will be held with close family and friends.
We would like to extend a special thank you to every first responder that day for their immediate and relentless dedication.
The family requests any flowers or memorial contributions be sent to Caughman-Harman Funeral Home at 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072.
