LEXINGTON - Savitri P. Mallya went to heaven on Monday, August 8, 2016. She passed peacefully in Lexington, SC surrounded by family. She was born in Mangalore, India on January 29, 1917. She was 99 years of age.
Savitri was predeceased by her beloved husband, U Prabhakar and son, Manmohan Mallya. Surviving are her grieving family, daughter, Mrs. Sulochana (Dr. Narayan) Shenoy and grandsons, Dr. Naland (Tiffany) Shenoy, Rahul (Sally) Shenoy, Dr. Rajeev (Elisabeth) Shenoy; son, Sharat (Rachel) Mallya; grandchildren, Prabhakar Ratnakar (Narda), Anita (Phillip) Cullen, and great-grandchild Nutan Mallya (Jamal).
She was a devoted mother and grandmother, loved by all and will be missed greatly.
