LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Spencer Thomas Jones, 23, of Lexington will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 pm prior to the service and following the service in the Chapel.
Spencer was born October 9, 1990 in West Columbia to Richard Thomas Jones and Johnette Dority Jones of Lexington and passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2013. Spencer graduated from Lexington High School in 2009 and attended Midlands Tech where he was studying to become a certified welder. He enjoyed physical fitness, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and sharing his love of life with his friends and family.
Spencer is survived by both parents; brothers, Christopher Jones (Sharon) and Stuart Jones, both of Lexington; and his loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, George H. Jones and Magdelene T. Jones of Petal, Mississippi; maternal grandparents, Johnnie B. Dority and Wilma B. Dority of West Columbia.
Spencer was loved by many and will be greatly missed by us all.
