BATESBURG – Funeral services for Stephen Labon Koon, 51, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Koon was born February 13, 1963 in Columbia, SC to Labon Koon and Carol Ivy Koon and passed away on Friday, October 10, 2014. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SC Patriot Guard Riders C/O Joe Padgett, PO Box 301 Johnston, SC 29832 or charity of one’s choice.
He is survived by his father, Labon Koon (Judy); mother, Carole Vause (Phillip); daughter, Kathryn Nunez; sons, Stephen and Cameron Koon; brothers, Stan Koon(Lisa) and Randy Koon (Missy); sisters, Maggie Jennings (Kyle) and Susan Hammett (Mike) ; granddaughter, Estella; step-brother, Michael Vause and step-sisters, Amanda Vause and Amy Grice; grandmother, Daphne Ivy; step-son, Jimmy Sperry and beloved friend, Sharon Koon
