

Thelma Louise Price Kleckley, 99, of Lexington, SC was called to her eternal home on November 4, 2021. A memorial service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church on Monday, November 8, 2021, at 1:00 pm. Visitation will follow the service in the Family Life Center.
Born on May 1, 1922, in Lexington, SC, Mrs. Kleckley was the daughter of the late Julian E. Price and Maggie Steele Price. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, where she served as secretary for 15 years. She also taught Weekday, Bible, and Sunday Schools. She was a member and past president of WELCA and served on many committees. She was also a member and past Worthy Matron of Lexington Ch. 176 Order of the Eastern Star, and a member and past Royal Matron of Trinity Court No. 6 Order of the Amaranth. She was a graduate of Lexington High School, and a former employee of Silver’s Dime Store and SCEG, where she was a keypunch operator.
Mrs. Kleckley’s greatest joys were working in her flower gardens, reading - especially poems, playing bridge, and spending time with her family. She also loved to travel and enjoyed many interesting trips at home and abroad. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Left behind to cherish her memory and celebrate her life are her loving husband of 65 years, Thomas Lee Kleckley; a son, Russell (Rayna); precious grandchildren, Kara Willis (Zach), Jenna Hobbs (Adam), and Joel Kleckley; and beloved great-granddaughter, Ada Willis. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, J. Wilbur Price and Gary E. Price; and sisters, Lucile Ganzekaufer, Doris Harrell, Gladys Rikard, and Cecile Price.
