LEXINGTON – Thomas McKinney, 90, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2012. Born in McCormick, SC, he was the son of the late William M. and Macie McComb McKinney. Graveside services were held on Monday, December 24, 2012.
Mr. McKinney is survived by his children: Philip McKinney, Kenneth (Judy) McKinney and Darlene (Jeff) Dobbs; step-children: Bob (Jewell) Howers, Carolyn Fernell, Dot (George) Bushman, Gay (Feaster) Coleman, and Joan (Butler) Greene; grandchildren: Laura (Albert) Severino, Patrick (Jessica) McKinney, Paul (Dana) McKinney, Wendy (Tony) Hodges, Jamie Acker (Ely), Jason Howers and Patrick Howers; 11 great-grandchildren; sister: Elizabeth Ford; cousin: Martha Jeanne Kyzer and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by wives: Inez Brown, Bettie Hutchinson, Inez Clark, Mildred Chapman, and Jean Howers; brothers: Joe McKinney, Ralph McKinney, Clark McKinney, Elmer McKinney, Otis McKinney and Alvin McKinney and a sister: Mary Kissiah.
