LEXINGTON – Funeral services for William Roscoe Dooley, 89, will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Red Bank United Methodist Church. With interment in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home Lexington Chapel.
Mr. Dooley was born on March 23, 1924 and passed away on Wednesday September 18, 2013.
Mr. Dooley was a WWII Veteran, serving in the Army Air Corp from 1942-1945 and was honorably discharged as a Corporal. He worked at Addy Dodge for 37 years.
Mr. Dooley is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Lib” Monts Dooley son, Jerry R Dooley; grandson Ryan Dooley; and sister Ruby Smith, all of Lexington. Predeceased are brothers, Jim, Nathan and Lewis Taylor; sisters, Lizzie Watts and Mary Jane Kirk.
