William passed in the comfort of his parents’ arms after a long battle with his medical complexities. He was surrounded by the love of his family and the caring healthcare professionals that became like family.
William will always be our little superhero. His parents want him to be remembered by his big beautiful smile that could light up any room and his special love for his sidekick, Puppy. William loved listening to music, reading books, watching videos and of course cuddling and rocking. He always found comfort with having Puppy nearby, holding a comfort finger or being sung to. William especially enjoyed when his big sister, Amelia, sang bedtime songs.
William charmed his way into the hearts of everyone who played a role in his life. Our village included family, friends new and old, coworkers, strangers from Facebook support groups, countless charities and finally the beloved nurses, doctors and therapists that took care of not only William, but our whole family too. It would be impossible to list everyone that became a part of our village on this journey, but please know that we are forever thankful for the role that you played.
William is survived by his parents, Ryan and Kara Kopp; sister, Amelia; grandpa and grandma, Thomas and Judy Kopp, Pappy and Mimi Alan and Teresa Williams; aunts and uncles, Robert and Mary Alex Kopp, Sarah and Jared Childers, Gavyn Williams; cousins, Palmer and Calvin Kopp, Kesli Childers; great-grandparents, Virginia Williams, Jeanne Richards, Richard Kopp and Barbara Aitchison.
