

LEXINGTON - Funeral services for Willie T. Senn will be held at 4:00 PM Friday May 6, 2016 at Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church with private burial in the family cemetery at the church. The family will receive friends from 3:00PM to 4:00PM May 6, 2016 at the church. Mr. Senn was born August 26, 1939 in Lexington County and passed away peacefully at his home in Lexington on Sunday May 1, 2016. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a lifelong resident of Lexington County. Mr. Senn was retired from Lexington County Public Services Department and was instrumental in the implementation of the emergency 911 program. He served Lexington County emergency services in many capacities during his career. Mr. Senn was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Swansea SC and a lifelong member of the Springdale Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Senn is survived by his two sons and daughters in law, William T (Billy) Senn and Sheila of Lexington, Michael Nelson (Mike) and Adair of Greer SC; brother and sister-in-law, William F (John) Jr. and Barbara of Lexington and nephews Craig and Scott Senn of Lexington. He was affectingly known as Paw Paw to his grandchildren, Alex, Courtney and Nelson Senn and his two great-grandchildren, AJ Harney and Avery Senn. He was predeceased by his first wife, Betty Browder Senn.
Mr. Senn enjoyed socializing with his friends and neighbors in the Palms community in Lexington where he was always open to friendly conversation on his porch. He was an avid Gamecock and NASCAR fan. The family would like to recognize his close and special friends, Kevin Cooley, Barry Cimino, Kay Wingate, and Carolyn Roof. Honorary Pallbearers will be Buddy Bennett, Eric Wrigley, Steve McKelevy, Scott Senn, and Alex Senn.
