Karen "Kay" Browning, 56, Liberty, Missouri passed away April 1, 2015. Funeral services will be noon, Saturday, April 11 at First Baptist Church, 336 N. Gallatin, Liberty, MO. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Fairview/New Hope Cemetery, Liberty, MO. Kay was born September 19, 1958 in Liberty, Missouri to Lawrence William and Bessie C. (Hines) Smith. She was a 1977 graduate of Liberty High School. Kay was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence William Smith; two sisters, Deborah and Marilyn and by her father-in-law, Walter Browning mother-in-law, Reta May Browning; brother-in-law Kim Charles Browning and sister-in-law, Jeanne Browning. Survivors include her husband, Walter E. Browning; mother, Bessie C. Smith; two sons, Ahmond Browning and his wife Tasha and Ashley Browning; four grandchildren, Jasmine, Elijah, Alara and Evan; four sisters, Lois Smith, Anita Jones, Lori Smith and Andrea Johnson; two brothers, William Smith and Charles Smith; Aunt, Dorothy Jones; sisters-in-law, Denise Browning and Brenda Poole; brother-in-law, Ervin Carell and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
