Richard "Rick" Dwayne Woolworth

Richard “Rick” Dwayne Woolworth, age 84, of Liberty, Missouri passed away in the early hours of Monday, September 11, 2023. A memorial service in Rick’s honor will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Church Archer Pasley Funeral Home, 119 East Franklin Street, Liberty, Missouri 64068. A reception will be held at the conclusion of the memorial service, with refreshments to be provided.

Rick was born on November 15, 1938 in Kansas City, Kansas to Willard and Hazel (Servos) Woolworth. He grew up in KCK and graduated from Argentine High School in 1956. Rick had two children, Mike and Brian. He married his wife, Paula K. (Hood) Woolworth, on July 20, 1995. Rick retired from selling transmissions, and loved spending time with his wife and family. He also enjoyed fishing, racing cars, going to sporting events, and building radio-controlled cars.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Hazel; his sister, Wilma Stokes; and his brother, Don Woolworth.

Rick is survived by his wife, Paula; his brothers, David (Carol) and Danny (Gail) Woolworth; his sons, Mike (Kathy) Woolworth and Brian (Daretha) Woolworth; his grandchildren, Tyler Woolworth, Kevin (Alexandra “Allie”) Woolworth, and Jacob Woolworth; and one great-grandchild, Maranatha “Marnie” Kathryn Woolworth, whom he got to meet just before his passing.
