Theresa Era (McEwan) Keller, 94, Gainesville, VA, passed away August 19, 2015. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 28 at Church-Archer-Pasley Funeral Home, Liberty, MO. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery, Liberty. Theresa was born October 28, 1920 in Holt, Missouri and grew up in Liberty. She was a 1937 graduate of Liberty High School and attended William Jewell College. She worked in an administrative capacity for the Federal Government prior to her retirement. Theresa was preceded in death by her father, William McEwan; mother, Era T. (Lyman) Laster; and her husband, William Keller. She is survived by her son, Gary M. Prater, Linden, VA; granddaughter, Samantha L. Prater, Gainesville, VA; and former daughter-in-law, Jennifer L. Swider, Gainesville, VA. She is also survived by her cousin, Barbara Leheney and her husband, John of Lee’s Summit, MO as well as their children and grandchildren.
