William Allen “Bill” Bittner, 90, of Liberty, Missouri passed away June 15, 2014 at his grandson’s home surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born October 2, 1923 in Hitt, Missouri to Karl and Hillis (Wagner) Bittner. On April 9, 1950 he married Mary Louise Hodde. Bill was a mechanic for Claude Parrish Chevrolet for 22 years. He then worked for the City of Liberty Maintenance Barn for 19 years. Bill was a volunteer Police Office for the City of Liberty. He was passionate about anything John Deere. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Darrell Wagner and Charles Lee Bittner and son-in-law Lloyd Cooper, Sr. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mary Louise Bittner, daughter Marilyn Cooper; grandsons, Nathan Cooper and his wife Amanda and Lloyd Cooper, Jr and wife Angie; seven great grandchildren, Kirstin Markle, Breauna Cooper, Tanner Markle, Lilly Cooper, Abbania Markle, Thomas Cooper and Matthew Cooper.
