A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 10 at 11:00 a.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Sandra Ireson.
Betty was the daughter of the late Thomas Jackson and Julia Thomas Meacham and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Garrett and James Meacham.
Surviving is her daughter, Debra Aldridge and husband, Stephen of Fayetteville; son, Billy Lowe and wife, Chris of Colorado; sister, Virginia Meacham Fogleman; brothers, David and Thomas Meacham; sister-in-law, Marie Langley Meacham; grandchildren, Rachel Aldridge Schoulars, Kathleen Johnson, Alex Lowe, Danni Lowe and great-grandchildren, Olivia Grace Schoulars and Thomas Wyatt Schoulars.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to The Salvation Army, Resource Development, PO Box 241808, Charlotte, NC 28224-1808.
