A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church with Rev. Keith Edwards officiating. Mrs. Spoon will lie in repose in the church sanctuary one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation following the service in The Clyde Faulkner Classroom.
She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Carthage James Richardson and was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul William Spoon; sons, Jackie Glenn Spoon and Charlie Wayne Spoon; grandson, William Christopher Eller; and sister, Betty Bowman.
Surviving is her daughter, Peggy Eller; son, Billy Spoon; grandchildren, Sonia Cotner (Ryan), Stephen Eller, and Jill Hunt; great-grandchildren, Cameron Eller, Sparrow Hunt, and Lennie Hunt
